Where We Are

You’ll find our member inns in settings ranging from serene to exciting, casual to luxurious, rural to urban, and historic to contemporary.   We’re along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, and we’re in the quaint towns and enchanting villages on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Mother Nature lures you to enjoy the pristine beauty, charm, and serenity that has been bestowed on Elkton, Chestertown, Rock Hall, Denton, and Grasonville to the north and Easton, St. Michael’s, Oxford, Cambridge, Royal Oak, Smith Island, Whitehaven, and Snow Hill to the south.  Enjoy the beauty of Solomons, kissed by the Chesapeake, and relax in the tranquility that is a part of Lothian en route to Annapolis and Baltimore.  Head toward the Central Region of the state, and you’ll also find us in Savage, Sykesville, New Windsor, and Linwood along with a host of wineries and historic attractions.  In the hills and mountains of the Western Region, you’ll find us in Sharpsburg and Swanton.  Western Maryland is nature’s wonderland, an array of picturesque mountains, state parks, and natural forests that are a palate of colors throughout the year.  Deep Creek Lake welcomes boaters and water skiers in the warm weather, and Wisp Ski Resort welcomes skiers and tubers in the winter months.  If you prefer to step back in time, explore the C&O Canal and Antietam National Battlefield.

Highways & Byways

Create your own Leisure & Learn getaway by combining our Maryland Bed and Breakfasts with the state’s scenic byways taking you through Maryland’s most spectacular scenery, picturesque towns, and landscapes that are woven into the fabric of our nation’s history.  These highways are brimming with antique shops, early-morning farmers’ markets, wineries, and a host of historic sites and attractions. They are part of America’s Byways, designated as the most significant routes throughout the country, based on their scenery, culture, history, archaeology, and recreational opportunities.

Mini - Getaways

Looking for a short interesting getaway?  Maryland also offers you a choice of three-day itineraries across all the regions of the state - Western, Southern, Central, Capital, and Eastern Shore – while staying nearby at one of our quality inspected and approved inns.  Perhaps a weekend of playing golf, hiking and biking, boating and fishing, treating the kids and family, or just enjoying Maryland’s scenic beauty is what you had in mind. Our inns are there to welcome you after a day of fun in the sun or on the water.
